Proximity Sensor - 8 mm Diameter, Shielded, Normally Open - NPN
2318501Wintriss’s inductive proximity sensors offer excellent and trouble-free sensing for die protection or other applications where the sensing target is made of metal. They're fast, precise, accurate, will not wear out, are not affected by lube (even water-based), and are easy to install.
This 8 mm diameter shielded inductive proximity sensor has a threaded housing, and should be secured into an M8 x 1 threaded hole with thread locker. If the sensor is to be removed from the die during maintenance, epoxy it into a removable bushing or insert.
This sensor is Normally Open, which causes it to actuate (turn On) when metal enters the sensing field.
This sensor is immune to non-metallic contaminants, oil resistant, and features an IP67 environmental rating.
