What are Soft Touch Buttons?
Wintriss/ISB Soft Touch palm buttons are self-contained direct replacements for conventional spring-loaded palm buttons. These ergomonic buttons reduce instances of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - especially for operators running hand-fed single stroke presses.

Why Use Soft Touch Buttons?
The current method of simultaneously pressing hard on two spring loaded mechanical buttons in order to initiate the cycle of a machine has been shown to cause a serious wrist injury commonly known as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Soft touch buttons eliminate the need to press. Simply touching the green detection zone generates the start command. This gentle motion of the hand and wrist virtually eliminates all stressful and strainful forces associated with pushing mechanical buttons.
